According to the analysis of data by the Federal Customs Service of Ukraine, conducted by CementInfo.Ru, in 12 months (January - December) 2017:

• Export of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone (HS code 2517) made total 8 647 111 MT, in December only - 738 088 MT. Import of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone (HS code 2517) made total 242 999 MT, in December only - 18 860 MT. The largest exporter of pebbles, gravel, crushed stone to Ukraine is Turkey (76 372 MT), the main importer pebbles, gravel, crushed stone from Ukraine - Belarus (5 922 193 MT)
• Export of portland cement, cement (HS code 2523) made total 285 321 MT, in December only - 11 419 MT. Import of portland cement, cement (HS code 2523) made total 1 472 629 MT, in December only - 119 662 MT. The largest exporter of portland cement, cement to Ukraine is Russian Federation (877 687 MT), the main importer portland cement, cement from Ukraine - Romania (109 986 MT)
• Export of asbestos (HS code 2524) made total 3 MT, in December only - 0 MT. Import of asbestos (HS code 2524) made total 15 980 MT, in December only - 663 MT. The largest exporter of asbestos to Ukraine is Kazakhstan (11 985 MT), the main importer asbestos from Ukraine - Moldova, Republic Of (3 MT)
• Export of fireproof cements (HS code 3816) made total 2 665 MT, in December only - 497 MT. Import of fireproof cements (HS code 3816) made total 51 538 MT, in December only - 5 687 MT. The largest exporter of fireproof cements to Ukraine is Germany (12 574 MT), the main importer fireproof cements from Ukraine - Russian Federation (1 673 MT)
