Export and import of cement in January - August 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Cementinfo.ru, in August 2020 Russia has imported 183.7 thousand tons of cement (HS code 3816, 2523). According to the results of 8 months of cement import campaign, Russia has shipped in 1220.7 thousand tons (in 2019 - 1115.6 thousand MT; in 2018 - 1012.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2020, the main countries exporters of cement to Russia were BELARUS (46.83%) and KAZAKHSTAN (18.08%).

In August 2020 Russia has exported 137.8 thousand tons of cement. According to the results of 8 months of cement export campaign, Russia has shipped out 856.3 thousand tons (in 2019 - 835.3 thousand MT; in 2018 - 693.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2020, the main countries importers of cement from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (51.48%) and BELARUS (34.37%).
