According to the analysis of Statkom of Kazakhstan, conducted by CementInfo.Ru, production of portland cement increased over the month by 25.92% in May 2018 and has made 1163.1 thousand tons (in the previous month - 923.7 thousand tons, in May 2017 - 1045.5 thousand tons, in May 2016 - 1016.4 thousand tons). Total 3492 thousand tons of portland cement have been produced in January-May 2018 (in January-May 2017 - 3007 thousand tons).
